My name is Simone Scarpelli, I am a photographer and I live in the province of Florence, Chianti.

My Pets

I live with a female chow-chow, Era, and six European cats named Cesira, Aieieie Harlock Anam Braznof, Nikita, Yang, La Dovi and La Petrux, as well as my life partner who happens to be a veterinarian and is directly responsible for my entry into the Pet world.

It all started 14 years ago with the beginning of cohabitation and the arrival of Hook, a Sylvester-type cat with only one eye, who was abandoned at the clinic. From that time on, many orphans that no one wanted to adopt because they were too common or haggard became part of the family.

The last to arrive was Era, also not chosen but adopted because her previous family could no longer follow her. Era is the first dog in my life and has rekindled in me thatatavistic bond between man and dog by changing my habits, although she is very reserved, not very playful and, like all those of her breed, she keeps very much to herself.
