Only the best raw materials in Natural Code for Dog recipes

Beef

Beef is rich in protein and essential amino acids for growth and muscle development in dogs. Beef provides phosphorus and potassium as well as iron, zinc and magnesium. In beef we also find vitamins such as thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), and niacin (PP), which are essential for the functioning of metabolic processes such as sugar utilization. Beef also provides arachidonic acid, which is essential for dogs because they are unable to synthesize it.

Chicken

The chicken used in the preparation of our products comes from controlled farms and is free-range. Only the noble parts of the chicken such as the breast are used in the preparations, while parts such as the viscera and tendons are discarded. Chicken meat is extremely digestible and is one of the ideal protein sources for dogs; among other things, it provides arginine, taurine, and arachidonic acid, elements that dogs are unable to synthesize in their own bodies and are necessary for their well-being.

Lamb

Lamb is defined as a young sheep less than one year old. Lamb meat is generally very tender and nutritionally rich in essential amino acids and is a good source of minerals and B vitamins. Lamb meat is recommended as an alternative to beef in cases of food intolerances.

Pork

Pork is very digestible due to the low presence of connective tissue. Pork is characterized by the presence of many nutrients such as vitamin B1, B2, B6, B12, vitamin D, as well as a good content of minerals such as iron, copper, zinc and selenium.

Veal

Veal meat is distinguished by its particular tenderness and digestibility.
It is rich in protein of high biological value and low in fat.
It also provides minerals, such as sodium and potassium, and B vitamins.

Horse

Horse meat brings a high protein content of excellent biological value.
It is known to be rich in iron, and in addition to it also contains
B vitamins that are essential for proper metabolic processes in dogs.

Buffalo

The buffalo belongs to the bovid family but is distinguished by its greater rusticity and powerful musculature. The meat of this animal has an intense flavor and provides excellent quality protein and minerals. It also has a high content of vitamins B6 and B12.

Chicken liver

Chicken liver is an ingredient of very high nutritional value and excellent for feeding dogs.
There is a high amount of vitamin A in chicken liver, which is very important because dogs are unable to synthesize it, so it must be introduced through food.

Tuna

Tuna is a very digestible food and contributes to making the dog's diet complete, being an excellent source of protein and fatty acids of the Omega 3 and Omega 6 series, selenium and vitamin B12, the latter being essential in the dog's life (and present only in animal products) because the dog's body is unable to synthesize it on its own.

Sardines

Sardines are part of the group of fish species commonly referred to as bluefish and found widespread in the Mediterranean Sea. The meat of sardines is very tender and palatable. Nutritionally, they are very rich in Omega 3 series fatty acids, plus they are a good source of niacin, vitamin D, vitamin B12, phosphorus, protein, calcium and selenium.

Herring

Herring is a small fish that lives mainly in the North Seas. It is an oily fish, and as such provides high amounts of Omega 3 series polyunsaturated fatty acids. Because of this property, it promotes healthy skin and coat in dogs.

Potatoes

Nutritionally, potatoes are known primarily for their high carbohydrate content, present mainly in the form of starch. The richness in carbohydrates limits the use of potatoes in the diet of the dog, which is a strict carnivore, to small amounts.

Sweet potatoes

Straight from America, sweet potatoes are a prized source of carbohydrates with a mild flavor. Sweet potatoes are rich in potassium and vitamin A, and they also provide fiber, which is essential for ensuring proper intestinal transit.

Rice

Rice added in small amounts is an excellent source of highly digestible carbohydrates for dogs, plus it is gluten-free and provides magnesium, phosphorus and potassium. Brown rice also provides insoluble fiber, which contributes to proper gastrointestinal transit, important, especially in the elderly dog.

Spelt

It is a cereal in the same family as wheat, with very ancient origins.
It is characterized by good protein content and digestibility, without exceeding calorie intake.
It provides good levels of potassium, phosphorus and magnesium.

Basmati Rice

Basmati rice, widely used especially in the East, is distinguished by its elongated shape and strong flavor. Compared to ordinary rice it provides fewer calories but imparts a sense of satiety even with small portions. It is a digestible food, so it is also suitable for dogs with intestinal problems

Couscous

Couscous, a typical dish from North Africa, is made from steamed grains of wheat semolina. It is a highly digestible food that is low in fat and gives a sense of satiety. It also provides potassium, magnesium and B vitamins, particularly niacin.

Vegetables

Vegetables in general provide fiber, which helps the dog's digestion by aiding intestinal transit.
Carrots, squash, peas and tomatoes in addition to being a source of fiber also provide vitamins (especially A and E) and minerals such as potassium.

Zucchini

Due to their 'fiber intake, zucchini are an ideal food for regularizing intestinal transit. They are also characterized by a very low calorie intake and are easily digestible. The minerals that are contributed by zucchini are calcium, iron, potassium and phosphorus.

Raspberries

Raspberries are berries that are characterized
by their high content of vitamins C and E,
which impart antioxidant properties to this ingredient.

Mangoes

This exotic fruit has a sweet and intense flavor while being low in calories.
It provides vitamin A and beta carotene, which are important for the health of the dog's skin
and coat, and also contains minerals
such as potassium, phosphorus and calcium.

Apple

A fruit rich in soluble fiber and characterized by the high presence of polyphenols,
natural antioxidants that fight cellular aging.
Apple, because of its flavor and texture,
is a popular food for dogs.

Pear

The pear has a similar composition to the apple, but is an even higher fiber fruit. It is rich in potassium and vitamin C, a natural antioxidant that is an important ally of our pets' health.

Blueberries

Blueberries are small, tasty berries rich in vitamins C and A.
They are known for their very high antioxidant power,
which prevents cell aging and free radical activity.
