Disorders related to these glandular structures are often associated with pain, frequent licking, and often severe infection. Problems of the perianal glands represent a common and very frequent problem in veterinary medicine.
Several clinical studies have shown a close relationship between intolerances, allergies and the disorders just mentioned. The valuable added natural principles, combined with the properties of sea fish (high content of omega-3 fatty acids, very high protein value and high digestibility) free of the most toxic chemical and pharmacological pollutants, contribute to the improvement of the physiological defensive mechanisms of the skin system, and their properties are well known from traditional medicine and phytotherapy.
Periaction Active is indicated for
- Pain in the perineal area
- Infection of the perianal glands
- Inflammation of the perineal glands
- Obsessive licking of circumscribed areas
Complete dietary food for dogs (new formulation).
Composition (of kibble alone): ground rice, fish meal, corn gluten, rice bran, oils and fats (corn oil, fish oil 2%), beet pulp, fish protein hydrolysates, algae (Ascophyllum nodosum), mineral substances, dehydrated yeast, FOS, Yucca schidigera. - (AFS tablet - 7% of the food): fish protein hydrolysates 3%, plant protein hydrolysates, mineral substances, products obtained from the processing of herbs (Carica papaya 0.0156%, Aloe vera 0.0097%), algae (Haematococcus pluvialis (astaxanthin 0.0074%)), products and by-products of the processing of fresh fruits and vegetables (tomato pressing residue 0.0030%)
Additives (per kg): Nutritional additives: vitamin A 17000 IU, vitamin D3 1000 IU, vitamin E/total-rac-alpha-tocopheryl acetate 250 mg, vitamin C 250 mg, choline chloride 1000 mg, DL-methionine 500 mg, zinc sulfate, monohydrate 135 mg (Zn 50 mg), copper(II) amino acid chelate hydrate 39 mg (Cu 10 mg). Sensory additives: botanically defined natural products: Curcuma longa 268 mg, Punica granatum 108 mg, Vitis vinifera 24 mg, Rosmarinus officinalis 18.1 mg.
Analytical constituents: moisture 8%, crude protein 26%, crude fat 12.5%, crude fiber 2.6%, crude ash 7.3%, calcium 1.3%, phosphorus 1.1%, Omega3 0.98%, Omega6 3.92%.
Metabolizable Energy: 3498 kcal/kg - 14.6 MJ/kg.
Period of Use:
- reduction of intolerance to ingredients and nutrients: use 3 to 8 weeks, if intolerance symptoms disappear the product can be used indefinitely .
Added natural principles
- Ascophyllum nodosum: in addition to prebiotics that improve intestinal function, it provides fucoidans and beta-glucans with protective and balancing action on the immune system.
- Aloe(Aloe vera): contains numerous vitamins, minerals, amino acids, glucomannans, enzymes and other beneficial substances.
- Turmeric (Curcuma longa): has a powerful antioxidant action, has protective properties towards the liver and vascular system.
- Maitake (Grifola frondosa): has efficacy on the regulation of lipid and glucose metabolism.
