The only ingredient in Barf's Chicken Mince wet food for dogs and cats is chicken meat, which is very lean and very digestible.
It has a lower fat content than other types of meat, and because of these characteristics, chicken meat is suitable for a low-calorie diet.
Also being rich in vitamins B6, B12 and niacin, minerals such as potassium, magnesium, iron and zinc, chicken meat can prevent anemia, support the immune system and can provide additional protection against infection and inflammation.
Chicken offal is an excellent and natural source of vitamins and minerals; in particular, Vitamin A is of great importance for growth, the immune system, the visual process, and the renewal of skin and mucous membrane cells. Among minerals, iron, in particular, is important for oxygen transport in the blood.
This dog and cat food consists exclusively of asingle protein source of animal origin and is therefore very suitable for the gradual transition to a natural diet.
Especially at the beginning of the dietary transition, it is advisable not to use several protein sources as this may impair the animal's digestive capabilities.
