It contains only 50 percent ocean fish (of which 35 percent is fresh fish) ensuring a much higher amount of protein than is found in most dog foods. More than 85% of this protein comes from animal sources. In addition, as a source of carbohydrates, it contains brown rice, a noble grain that ensures the product's high digestibility, the latter of which has been tested by the Department of Veterinary Medical Sciences at the University of Bologna.
