Acana Classics Wild Coast is formulated from 50% fish caught in the cold, pristine waters of the North Pacific that wash over Vancouver Island.
It contains of 3 types of fish: herring, flounder, and hake, fish naturally rich in essential fatty acids whose internal organs and cartilage have also been used to ensure all nutrients are naturally and completely supplied. Muscle, in fact, provides protein while liver, kidney provide vitamins and minerals. Bones and cartilage, on the other hand, are naturally rich in calcium and phosphorus.
The choice to includewhole animals(whole-prey diet) stems from the need to provide a rich diet that is entirely similar to what the dog would eat in the wild.
Fish is an easily digestible animal protein ideal for animals with digestive sensitivities, allergies or food intolerances.
