PSD2: the European directive making online transactions safer.

Since its entry into force on 01/04/2021, the new European directive PSD2 regarding the security of online transactions has made electronic payments on Paco's website even more secure.

In fact, the introduction of the dual authentication provided by PDS2 ensures greater protection of your data.

Please note that PSD2 aims to allow banks to verify that the online buyer is the legitimate owner of the credit card he or she is using.

How it works:

  1. Make sure you have activated 3D Secure Code payment with your bank.
  2. After entering your credit card information you will be redirected to your bank's authentication server to finalize payment for your order.
  3. You will be asked to verify your purchase via a notification or a code sent via text message.
  4. If you do not receive the notification automatically, open your bank's application directly to validate the authentication.
  5. Return to paco after verifying your purchase with your bank to complete your order.
