- Helps the kidney in regulating the body's and blood's water and electrolyte balance, promoting the removal of toxic metabolites
- The high biological value of the food allows the release of lower amounts of amino acids into the circulation, resulting in lower urea concentrations

Treatment: Divide the daily ration into several portions to be administered throughout the day. It is recommended that TROVET Renal & Oxalate be used for a period of at least 6 months. TROVET Renal & Oxalate can still be used as a complete and balanced dietary food throughout the animal's life.
Suggestions: It can be used in conjunction with the functional snacks Low Calorie Lamb and possibly also with the snacks Multi Purpose Lamb and Multi Purpose Rabbit, except where the diet is prescribed to counteract the formation of calcium oxalate crystals or stones.
