Ownat Author Grain Free Fresh Duck & Chicken for Adult Dogs has a combination of fresh duck and chicken meat in high percentages (60 percent total and 40 percent fruits, vegetables and superfoods), which makes the kibble irresistible and also offers the highest quality nutrition. Dogs and cats are originally carnivores and therefore require a diet rich in animal protein. Fresh meat provides the protein with the highest nutritional value. Therefore in Ownat AUTHOR there is only fresh meat and fish in large quantities (60%). With this we also achieve that between 70% and 85% of the total protein is of animal origin. We have selected the best fresh meat and fish for each recipe to ensure the highest nutritional quality, a high degree of digestibility or, in other words, the best enhancement of its nutrients, as well as unparalleled flavor and palatability.
Meat meal-free
Almost all extruded products incorporate meat meal (also called dried meat) as the main protein source. However, the high temperature and pressure process used in the preparation of meat meals causes these proteins to lose some of their original nutritional value. At Ownat Author, we do not use any kind of previously processed meat (flours), replacing it completely with fresh meat so that all its natural freshness and all its original nutritional value arrive intact until the right time of cooking, thus ensuring a food that is easier. to digest, of exceptional nutritional quality and unparalleled flavor.
