Orme Naturali Struvipet is an adjuvant for the acidification of urine in dogs and cats.
L-ascorbic acid and methionine are indicated in the treatment and prevention of alkaline urinary stones, chief among them struvite stones.
L' high efficacy of Struvipet is due to the associated presence of L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and methionine, an essential amino acid in all animal species that must be consumed through diet since the animal body is unable to synthesize it.
The two active ingredients act synergistically, creating a urinary environment unfavorable to the precipitation of alkaline salts and bacterial multiplication, promoting the dissolution of stones already formed.
Struvipet is available in the convenient dispenser that contains 100 g of highly palatable paste product.
Ingredients:
vegetable by-products, oils and fats, yeast, dextrose, meat and meat products. Additives: nutritional additives: vitamin E (alpha tocopherol acetate) 275mg/kg, vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 880mg/kg, DL-Methionine 80000mg/kg. Technological additives: preservatives: citric acid, potassium sorbate.
Method of use:
Cats: 2-4g (or as needed) twice daily.
Dogs: 5-10g (or according to weight and need) twice daily.
* 1 g = 2 cm.
