Kattovit Renal is a complete dietary food for adult cats indicated to support kidney function in chronic kidney failure and to reduce the formation of oxalate stones.
Kattovit Feline Diet KIDNEY / RENAL was specially developed to provide cats with reduced protein content through the use of high-quality protein in an easily digestible composition.
High levels of protein can have a detrimental effect on the kidneys, the decisive factor being the protein content in relation to the amount of energy. In Kattovit KIERE / RENAL, unlike conventional foods, only about half of the energy comes from protein. Enrichment with potassium citrate has a urinary alkalizing effect and can therefore prevent the formation of oxalate crystals (oxalate prophylaxis). Phosphorus and sodium levels are reduced.
