Best Friend Geranio Compact Tower-Style Cat Scratching Post
Is this scratching post suitable for large cats?
It is primarily designed for small and medium-sized cats or kittens, due to the size of the base and platforms. Very large cats might find it too small to stretch out fully.
How can I get my cat used to using the Catrina scratching post?
Place the scratching post near your cat’s favorite spots or rub some catnip on the sisal posts. This will pique their curiosity and encourage them to scratch there instead of on the furniture.
Is the sisal rope used on the posts natural?
Yes, the posts are covered in 100% natural sisal fiber, which is ideal for effective scratching without damaging your cat’s claws.
Does the scratching post come pre-assembled or does it need to be put together?
The product is shipped unassembled with a simple, intuitive assembly kit that takes just a few minutes to put together completely.
Is it easy to clean if cat hair builds up?
Yes, simply use a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery brush attachment or a lint roller to easily remove hair and dust from the plush fabric.
Can I replace the hanging toys if they get damaged?
Yes, you can easily reattach new toys or string balls by securing them to the support on the top or middle platform.
What is the purpose of the curved ramp?
It provides an additional diagonal scratching surface and helps kittens or less agile cats climb up to the middle shelf.
Where’s the best place to put the scratching post in your home?
Place it in a high-traffic area where the family passes by or near a window, so your cat can watch the outside while resting.
