Kattovit Renal is a veterinary wet food for cats, indicated to support kidney function in chronic renal failure and reduce oxalate formation.
Kattovit Feline Diet KIDNEY/Renal is specially formulated to provide cats with reduced protein content through the use of high-quality protein in an easily digestible composition. High levels of protein can have a detrimental effect on the kidneys. The decisive factor is the protein content in relation to the amount of energy. In Kattovit KIERE/Renal, unlike conventional foods, only about half of the energy comes from protein. Enrichment with potassium citrate has a urinary alkalizing effect and can therefore prevent the formation of oxalate crystals (oxalate prophylaxis). Phosphorus and sodium levels are reduced.
