Acana's production process
Unlike multinational corporations that market foods without producing them, Acana has stood out as an independent producer for more than 25 years. The ingredients used are delivered to Acana while still fresh and are obtained through sustainable practices, so they are never frozen and are never treated with preservatives. Thehigh concentration of protein comes from animal foods such as fresh poultry (chicken, turkey, duck, and eggs), fresh fish (salmon, pike-perch, pike, herring, halibut, whitefish), and red meat (beef, bison, lamb) are all sourced from extensive farms adjacent to the company itself.
