ItalianWay: all the knowledge of the Mediterranean diet in the quality of unique ingredients.
From the collaboration between Giuntini and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Perugia comes La Ricetta della Vita, ItalianWay's patented and exclusive recipe.
All the benefits of natural ingredients.
At the heart of La Ricetta della Vita is a combination of plant-derived components:
- tomato extract
- olive oil
- rosemary essential oil
- essential oil of oregano
- dried garlic
The balanced combination of vegetables and herbs, among the most typical and recommended ingredients of the Mediterranean diet, combines palatability with extra protection against external threats.
An aid against parasites:garlic and its extracts have been shown toact as vermifuge against ticks and mosquitoes, the latter being responsible for heart and subcutaneous filariasis in dogs. In addition, administering garlic extracts orally stimulates their activity as natural repellents: in fact, the fatty acids allow them to be transported subcutaneously, deodorizing the dog's or cat's skin with the characteristic aroma that only insects can perceive.
Against free radicals: lycopene, a pigment specific to tomatoes, a carotenoid capable of fighting free radicals;
Olive oil, which provides plenty of unsaturated fats, or "good" fats that stimulate proper metabolic activity;
Rosemary oil, thanks to its well-known antioxidant properties promotes digestive activities; Oregano essential oil, a proven antimicrobial. These activities, in addition to the "anti-feeding" effect, i.e., parasite repellent, help elevate the state of well-being of our four-legged friends.
