- - Diabetes in underweight, normal-weight, slightly overweight or obese cats
- - Hepatic lipidosis (not encephalopathic)
Other indications:
- - Weight loss and maintenance (prone to obesity or after weight loss)
- - Mild to moderate stages of heart disease, even asymptomatic
- - Neoplasia, most forms
Not recommended for:
Growing kittens, pregnant or lactating cats.
Patients with kidney disease, concomitant use of urinary acidifiers, debilitation or dehydration.
