Seresto are antiparasitic collars for dogs and cats with an innovative formulation designed to release their active ingredient after application. They offer up to 8 months of protection against fleas and ticks. It has a controlled-release active ingredient that provides a significant reduction in the risk of transmission of leishmaniasis. Seresto is water-resistant, and has a polymer structure that retains the active ingredients inside the collar. This means that even if the pet gets wet or washed, there is no need to remove the collar.
Washing the pet with pesticide? No problem with Seresto
Monthly washing with shampoo or soaking in water does not significantly reduce the 8-month activity against ticks, theactivity against fleas gradually decreases from the fifth month of using Seresto.
